If you are a Realtor who lists high end homes (generally, $1 million+), you need to make Gatsby’s List part of your marketing plan.
Gatsby’s List is a unique blending of real estate magazine, coffee table picture book, and reference guide for luxury home buyers, designers and dreamers. The site is dedicated to showcasing the finest of luxury homes – with a slightly different approach than what you’ll find elsewhere.
We focus upon awesome homes – those with incredible architecture, innovative style, to-die-for views, just-right décor, perfect location, immense scale, or that certain edginess which makes them stand out from the rest. The site presents a dazzling and ever-growing array of oceanfront homes, country estates, lakefront villas, ski lodges, urban penthouses, midtown lofts – anyplace people call home.
Gatsby’s List has no hidden agenda. It is not a thinly-veiled advertisement for another Realtor, a builder, an architect or a designer trying to promote our “real” business. To the contrary, Gatsby’s List is published as a celebration of high-end homes as an art form, and the people who create them as artists.
A key difference between Gatsby’s List and a multiple listing service or typical on-line real estate advertising outlets is that Gatsby’s List is designed to be “sticky.” What do we mean by sticky? Consider your average on-line advertisement or MLS listing. When the listing sells or expires, or at the end of the ad run, all of the pictures, descriptions, and contact information for you – disappear overnight. This only makes sense, since those sites all have the listing as their primary focus.
Gatsby’s List focuses upon the features of the property. Long after a property sells, the photos will remain searchable in our archives. The descriptions will remain accessible to search engines. And most important to you, your contact information will continue to be presented to potential buyers and sellers — anyone who looks at those images or descriptions — long after you’ve sold that property and moved on to other listings. And as you are well-aware, a hot inquiry about a sold or expired listing is still worth its weight in gold.
Some additional advantages of promoting your listings on Gatsby’s List include:
How can we do this for free? We can’t, at least not forever. That’s why this offer is only available for a limited time.
We are still in the process of building our site, adding content, testing new software and introducing our readers and advertisers to Gatsby’s List. As the new guys on the block, we’re inviting you to try out our services. If you like us, we’re hoping that you will spread the word. If there’s something we can improve, we want you to let us know about it.
Some limitations: Gatsby’s List reserves the right to decline to profile any property which it deems inappropriate for inclusion on the Gatsby’s List web site. Reasons for refusal may include, but are not limited to, property appearance, style, asking price (Gatsby’s List will rarely include homes with asking prices below USD $1 million), and photo quality (unless you are a skilled photographer, we strongly recommend that you hire a pro). Gatsby’s List may discontinue this “free ad” promotion at any time, but any ads placed prior to that time will run at no charge for a minimum of 90 days. All submissions are subject to the Gatsby’s List terms of use.
How to get started: It’s simple. Fill out the form at the bottom of the page and we’ll get back to you shortly. If you have any questions, go to our Contact page and let us know how we can help you.
